My Story

Hello :) Thank you for taking the time to read up on the person behind the brand and how all of this came to be.

As I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, my name is Olivia Catania and I am exploring the journey of my “roaring twenties”.

The Emerge of “Livfiit”

Throughout my life, I have been an active, energetic person. My family has always valued health and wellness. With my mom being a bodybuilder and my father, a gym rat, it was easy for me to mimic the lifestyle.

From a young age I was either snowskiing, playing sports, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, longboarding, hiking, etc while my parents were providing healthy meals on the table. Little did I know, this was the forming foundation to my greatest passion.

With the social pressures in high school and while also being naturally very thin, I began to experience body image insecurity. I was unhappy with my physique and I wanted to change it.

That is when I discovered the world of weightlifting through the lens of social media.

I saw women who were strong and built due to their hard-earned muscle. I saw women who had self-discipline and drive. I saw woman who put in the work and got to reap their results.

Almost instantaneously I realized, that was who I wanted to be - badly.

From that point forward I began to learn about weightlifting and the strategy behind muscle building. I watched videos on Instagram and Youtube as well as researched articles online.

THEN

THEN

I. Was. Hooked.

It was the first time in my life that I felt true passion and a undying need to not only work towards a goal - but achieve it.

April 2017 is when I finally came to terms with the fact that I could not contain this obsession within me any longer. I decided to follow in the footsteps of all the inspiring women I followed on Instagram and launch my very own page, called Livfiit.

I started then and I never stopped. I carried this new found passion with me into college at Penn State University. Freshman year I learned how to balance a college workload, a training routine, and healthy eating decisions in the dining hall.

In February of my freshman year of college, I realized personal research did not satisfy my cravings for learning more. I decided to take my passionate hobby to the next level by earning some credentials.

There, I started my journey towards becoming an ACE Certified Personal Trainer at 18 years old and later became officially certified at 19.

NOW

Fast Forward to Today

In terms of my education, I graduated from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State with a supply chain management degree. I decided to minor in both entrepreneurship and international business in order to become more well-rounded for the business world.

Fast forward to today, my goals of “working out” have grown into much more.

To me, Livfiit is now about betterment and how I can embody my best self - pushing myself physically in the gym, making conscious decisions to fuel my body with nutritious foods, acting out of a place of love, living life to the fullest, or working on creating a positive headspace.
